4 Canadian Pork Loin Steaks or Chops, about 3/4"/2 cm thick
1/2 tsp (5 ml) ground black pepper
1/4 tsp (1 ml) cayenne pepper
1 tsp (5 ml) onion powder
2 tsp (10 ml) butter
1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
1/2 tsp (2 ml) fennel seeds, chopped (optional)
Combine spices and sprinkle onto pork steaks. Preheat grill on high; reduce heat to medium. Grill on lightly oiled grill over medium heat for 3 – 4 minutes per side until a meat thermomter registers 155-160ºF (68-71ºC). Do not overcook. Remove from heat, cover loosely and let rest a few minutes before serving and serve immediately.
