PEI Porktoberfest is month-long food event created to celebrate PEI Pork and the hard working hog producers and farmers behind this important Island industry.

Occurring each October, local chefs and restaurant teams plate their very best pork inspired dishes, with the public voting for the Best PEI Porktoberfest Chef. Previous editions of the campaign highlighted sausages, pulled pork, ultimate bacon sandwiches, to the most recent ‘Chef’s Cut’ theme where each restaurant could serve up their favourite pork cut.

Since launching in 2012, over 40,000 dishes and 15,000+ lbs of local pork has been served up in just the 155 days the campaign has been on the grills.
